Angela (Angie) Meade is a Developmental Specialist (DS) and Licensed Teacher in our Early Intervention program. She has been in the field of helping children in some way for over 20 years and can't imagine doing anything else.
Angie grew up in Marion but lived and worked in five different states and Germany over a 22 year period. Throughout that time she met many interesting and amazing people and is grateful for the experiences along the way. Because they missed family, they returned to Marion in 2008.
She loves to be a part of helping children and supporting families with special needs in our community. Her wish for those served is that these exceptional children, just like all children, should have every opportunity to live their best life. The kids we work with are just starting life (0 – 3 years), and they range from being born with serious challenges that will last a lifetime to just needing a helping hand for a short time. Whatever their situation, I wish every child and their families could receive the interventions and services they need to help them overcome a developmental delay, thrive through their disability, or improve their quality of life.
Angie is the proud parent of two grown children, Morgan and Kai. In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, traveling, walking, biking, hiking – and just being outdoors as much as possible.
